Claude Max and Teams plans now forced to API (Oct 7th update)

Anthropic has ended the Agent SDK monthly credit it announced in June 2026, and Claude Max and Team plans now include monthly API credits covering the Claude Agent SDK, the Claude API, and Claude Managed Agents, according to an October 7, 2026 update. The credits must be claimed into a Claude Console organization and used with an API key from that organization. The change follows Anthropic teasing the shift in June and pulling back at the 11th hour.
