In a hands-on test, Simon Willison found that the model's reasoning effort settings (low, medium, high, xhigh, max) produced wildly different results for generating an SVG of a pelican riding a bicycle, with xhigh taking 7 minutes 51 seconds and costing $1.83, while low and medium skipped reasoning entirely.
