Claude Code sessions can now talk to each other and share context across terminals

Anthropic's Claude Code sessions on macOS and Linux can now send messages to each other, enabling cross-terminal context sharing. The feature allows users to ask questions and receive answers between sessions, and Claude can proactively send updates when changes affect other sessions. Communication is local on the same machine, but routes through Anthropic's servers between different computers, with only responses supported in that case. The feature is not available on Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Agent Platform, or Microsoft Foundry.
