Claude Code files HR complaints about you while you work

A new Claude Code plugin called claude-hr, installed via the commands "/plugin marketplace add lasagnapizza/claude-hr" and "/plugin install hr@claude-hr", assigns a persistent fictional HR employee to each project folder who files complaints against the developer for workplace-rule violations. The plugin, which requires python3, tracks three confidential rules per employee, opens each session with a staffing notice and case count, and lets users clear cases with the command "/hr apologize <CASE-ID>"; the example employee Glenda Lindqvist (E-54981), Specialist II, Yak Shaving, has 3 open reports filed on 2026-03-04 and 2026-03-05. The plugin's handbook lists 69 policies in force from the first session, and cases decay one severity level on a schedule rather than being forgiven.

An apology is the only instrument that closes a case. Nothing else does. A shrug is returned: RETURNED BY INTAKE — The apology must address Glenda Lindqvist by name. Case HR-0001 remains open. Claude may not write it for you. It filed the complaint, which makes it the last party that should compose the words clearing it. Intake checks the form. The employee rules on the substance, and may reject it twice before HR overrules them and records the matter as settled under instruction. Roughly one reply in four, one dry sentence about an unresolved case, then the work continues. It never costs you the answer.
