Claude Code cloud agents are here, and you can get a free $100 in credits!

There’s a lot of reasons you might want to use Claude Code in the cloud, rather than your laptop, and this is my favorite.

Sure, you can turn off sleep for your computer. But Cloud agents in Claude let you pick up tasks on your phone too!

## How to start Claude Code in the cloud

You can start a cloud session from most anywhere.

- **Browser** :[claude.ai/code](https://claude.ai/code) , AKA “Claude Code on the web”
- **Mobile** : the**Code** tab in the[Claude app](https://code.claude.com/docs/en/mobile)
- **Desktop app** : select**Cloud** instead of**Local** when you[start a session](https://code.claude.com/docs/en/desktop#run-long-running-tasks-in-the-cloud)
- **Terminal** :`claude --cloud`
- **Routines** :[scheduled and triggered runs](https://code.claude.com/docs/en/routines) each run as a cloud session
