Claude Can Now Learn Your Workflows By Watching Your Screen Anthropic's Claude subscribers can now teach the AI chatbot to automate repetitive workflows by recording a screen share with voiceover, a new feature called Record a skill within Claude's Cowork tools. The feature, available on Max, Pro, and Team plans, processes the demonstration into a repeatable skill that can be triggered later. Anthropic also announced an iOS app-testing feature for the Claude Code Mac app. An update for Claude subscribers adds a new way to teach its AI chatbot how to complete some of your most tedious workflows. Previously, Claude let you explain a process for its models to follow via a written prompt, but now you can show the AI what to do using a screen recording and a voiceover. Part of Claude's Cowork tools, the Record a skill option lets you start a short screen share. Claude will then watch what you demonstrate, where you click, your typing patterns, and any voiceover you provide. After you finish the recording, Claude will process what you showed, learn how to repeat the task, and turn it into what Anthropic calls “a repeatable skill.” This is built for work and designed for repetitive tasks, allowing you to teach the system to complete a process without having to explain specifics in writing. For example, if you manually run a regular report that collates data from multiple sources, you could show Claude where to find each piece of information and how you want it presented. The system would then give you a repeatable skill that you can turn on to run the report. Anthropic added this feature through the Claude Cowork tools on Max, Pro, and Team subscriptions. There's currently no sign that Anthropic will make this available to free Claude users. Multiple subscribers say the option became available to them soon after it was first announced https://x.com/claudeai/status/2079595988998554047/photo/1 on Tuesday. If you're on the correct plan, you'll find it by heading to Cowork Record a skill Start recording . Anthropic has yet to confirm how many times you can repeat the process on each plan. Reddit user neveralone59 https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1v2qdct/comment/oyyffhn/?utm source=share&utm medium=web3x&utm name=web3xcss&utm term=1&utm content=share button claimed the option was available once every five hours on their Pro subscription. It’s unclear whether different recording lengths or processes will affect the cooldown period.
