CIBC names veteran tech executive Prasanna Gopalakrishnan to board of directors

CIBC has appointed veteran tech executive Prasanna Gopalakrishnan to its board of directors, effective Sept. 1. Board chair Kate Stevenson cited Gopalakrishnan's decades of experience in financial services and deep expertise in technology and artificial intelligence. Gopalakrishnan most recently served as global chief product and AI officer at ADP, and previously held roles at Sky and Bank of America.

TORONTO — CIBC has named veteran tech executive Prasanna Gopalakrishnan to its board of directors. CIBC board chair Kate Stevenson says Gopalakrishnan brings decades of experience in financial services, alongside deep expertise in technology and artificial intelligence. The appointment is effective Sept. 1. Gopalakrishnan most recently served as global chief product and AI officer at ADP. Before that, she worked as group chief technology officer at Sky in London.
