CIBC board chair Kate Stevenson says Gopalakrishnan brings decades of experience in financial services, alongside deep expertise in technology and artificial intelligence. The appointment is effective Sept. 1. Gopalakrishnan most recently served as global chief product and AI officer at ADP. Before that, she worked as group chief technology officer at Sky in London.
