That would represent a compound annual growth rate of 151.2%. The report projects that the global number of active agents will rise from 79.4 million in 2026 to 2.216 billion in 2030, as AI systems move from generating content to carrying out tasks through multi-step reasoning, tool use and coordination across systems. The report also projects China’s AI-computing market to reach $150.1 billion by 2030, four times its 2025 level. The global market is expected to reach $1.25 trillion over the same period.
