China reviews dependence on Broadcom switches in data centres

China has launched a survey of its data centres' reliance on Broadcom switches, according to the Financial Times, as part of a drive to boost domestic suppliers and reduce dependence on foreign AI infrastructure. The review targets Broadcom's networking silicon used in Chinese data centres.
