Anthropic launched a new tool that lets users upload a file to check whether it contains a C2PA content credential indicating it was created or edited by Claude. The tool runs locally on the user's device, reading only the embedded credential without storing or transmitting the file, and a missing signal does not confirm non-AI authorship.
