ChatGPT Voice can now use GPT-5.6 Sol and GPT-6 Astra

OpenAI announced that ChatGPT Voice can now use GPT-5.6 Sol and GPT-6 Astra, allowing Pro users to select any model and effort for voice interactions when search or reasoning is needed. The company also increased GPT-Live-1 usage limits from 1 hour to 3 hours for Plus users and from 12 hours to 15 hours for Pro $100 users, while Pro $200 users retain unlimited daily use.

It feels like it’s from 2024, is insanely staticy and glitchy, and needs to be far more natural and reliable when I’m on the go and just want a TTS reading of long chatgpt/codex output
