ChatGPT-6 Sol and Luna are here: Pricing and benchmarks data

OpenAI launched two new ChatGPT models, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, on Tuesday, hours after Anthropic released Claude Opus 5.5, according to an OpenAI blog post. OpenAI priced GPT-6 Sol at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, and GPT-6 Luna at $0.10 input and $0.50 output, a 50 percent decrease versus GPT 5.6 Sol and Luna, with the company claiming the new models make half as many factual errors as the older versions. OpenAI said GPT-6 Luna beat the 5.6 release by 5.4 percent on AutomationBench while costing 58 percent less per task; the models are available in Work and Codex for Plus, Pro, Enterprise, Business, and Edu customers, with Go and Free users able to access Luna in the ChatGPT desktop app.
