The release also adds richer structured data, breadcrumbs and a catalog section in llms.txt so search engines and AI assistants can index the site, and fixes Trend Waves charts that had drawn stalled history sources from early August as a cliff rather than a gap. Stackness describes itself as a site where developers show the tools they build with and how they use them.", "body_md": "# Changelog 09-2026: tidying up before Product Hunt\n\nTomorrow Stackness launches on [Product Hunt](https://www.producthunt.com/products/stackness?launch=stackness). You know the moment right before guests arrive, when you suddenly notice every crumb on the floor? That was my last two weeks. Here is what got swept, polished and shipped. It's partially generate with AI, so sorry for cliche words :/ \n\n## **Trending gets its own page**\n\n[Trending](https://stackness.dev/trending) now has a public page of its own, right in the top menu, with a ranked list for every category. Curious what is climbing in [AI tools](https://stackness.dev/trending/ai-tools) this week? No account needed.\n\n## **A hub for every category**\n\nEach of the ten tool categories got a hub page: the most used tools, what is rising and falling, what they usually get paired with, and the moves people run with them. Start with [terminal and shell](https://stackness.dev/categories/terminal-shell) and wander off from there.\n\n## **Put a move in your README**\n\nYour best move deserves an audience outside Stackness. On your profile, hit Embed, pick a move (or let the card follow your latest one), choose dark or light, and paste the snippet into your GitHub README or portfolio. You get a small SVG card that links straight back to the move.\n\n## **Also in this release**\n\n- **Tiles have a quick look.** Long notes no longer stop mid-sentence with nowhere to go. Click a tile and read the whole thing.\n- **Your QR code got colourful** , and so did the preview card people see when you paste your profile link into Slack, X or LinkedIn.\n- **The blog grew up.** A proper reading column, reading time, tags, a table of contents on longer posts, the tools a post mentions and related posts at the bottom. You are looking at it right now.\n- **Trend Waves got more honest.** A few history sources had quietly stalled in early August, and the charts drew that as a cliff. Missing data now shows up as a gap, not a dramatic crash to zero.\n- **Feedback gets real replies.** Send a message through the contact form and a human (hi, that is me) answers by email. Reply to that email and it lands back in the same conversation.\n- **Small stuff:** a header that stops squeezing on smaller laptops, tile names that no longer hide under the corner buttons on narrow screens, a tool page without a mystery white gap, and an[about page](https://stackness.dev/about) that finally says who is behind all this.\n- **For the robots:** breadcrumbs, richer structured data and a catalog section in[llms.txt](https://stackness.dev/llms.txt) , so search engines and AI assistants can find all of the above.\n\n## **Tomorrow: Product Hunt**\n\nOn September 12 Stackness goes live on [Product Hunt](https://git+.vscode-resource.vscode-cdn.net/Users/sergeygordeychuk/Dropbox/Work/Development/stackfeed/blog-drafts/launch-eve-changelog/PRODUCT_HUNT_URL). If you have a stack page, come say hi. If you have opinions about it, even better: that is exactly the feedback we are after, and I will be in the comments all day.\n\n## **More reading on the way**\n\nLaunch week is also writing week. Coming up on this blog: which AI coding tools developers are switching to, how we measure tool popularity, the September trends roundup and a first quarterly report on the state of developer stacks. Grab the [RSS feed](https://stackness.dev/feed.xml) so you do not miss them.\n\nNow, back to sweeping.\n\n## What's in your stack?\n\nStackness is where developers show the tools they build with and how they use them. Make yours in a couple of minutes and see who works the way you do.\n\n[Show my stack](https://stackness.dev/register)", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt", "canonical_source": "https://stackness.dev/blog/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt", "published_at": "2026-09-11 20:30:29+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-10-02 22:08:22.767163+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["structured-data", "ai-crawlers", "developer-tools"], "entities": ["Stackness", "Product Hunt", "GitHub", "Slack", "LinkedIn"], "also_reported_by": [], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/changelog-09-2026-tidying-up-before-product-hunt.jsonld"}}
