CERT-IN Warns of AI-Assisted Threat Actor Targeting Indian Fintechs

CERT-IN has warned that an AI-assisted threat actor dubbed CRAFTY FALCON is specifically targeting Indian fintechs, exploiting vulnerabilities during holidays and low-monitoring windows to evade detection. The agency said the attacks are deliberate and recurring, persisting even after initial remediation attempts.
