Cato Networks announced an integration of its secure access service edge (SASE) platform with CrowdStrike's flagship security suite.
With the CrowdStrike Falcon tie up, both firms touted coverage across security operations, asset visibility, and threat hunting use cases. On the extended detection and response (XDR) side, the merging of Cato XOps with Falcon's Discover capability correlates endpoint detections with network telemetry to augment threat visibility and accelerate investigations.
The duo also pointed to improved device intelligence via endpoint context from Discover with Cato Asset Security, and network telemetry via Cato's SASE suite into Falcon's security information and event management (SIEM) system for enhanced threat hunting and detection from a wider range of security signals.

The Cato partnership follows CrowdStrike's recent partnership with AI chip specialists Cerebras Systems.
As announced last week, CrowdStrike will leverage Cerebras's wafer-scale CS-3 systems to support AI inferencing.
Cato Networks joins other SASE partners in the CrowdStrike stable including Zscaler and Netskope. Last year saw an expansion between Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform and CrowdStrike’s Falcon service with new managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities. The development are building on a relationship that began in 2019, which has seen AI integrations and zero-trust assessment compatibility.
CrowdStrike also holds a partnership with Versa Networks, with last year seeing CrowdStrike's Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA) scores integrated into Versa’s risk evaluations across the vendor's SASE and secure service edge environments, and Versa network pulled into Falcon's Next-Gen SIEM platform.
