CasioEmuMsvc: Emulator and devkit for Casio nX-U8/100 and nX-U16/100 MCU series

Developer telecomadm1145 released CasioEmuMsvc, an open-source emulator and development kit for Casio's nX-U8/100 and nX-U16/100 microcontroller series, offering full emulation of both MCUs alongside a debugger, disassembler and hex editor. The tool includes a snapshot system with branching save-states and screen previews, a plugin API supporting MCP (AI-driven), Python, Cw2tools and custom plugins, and builds for Windows (MSVC), macOS, Linux (CMake/Ninja) and Android (Gradle/NDK). The project's README notes that the ad-hoc-signed macOS build is quarantined by Gatekeeper on first launch and requires running "xattr -cr /path/to/CasioEmuMsvc.app" in Terminal to open.

To bypass this protection, after extracting the file, open your Terminal and run the following command to clear the quarantine flag: xattr -cr /path/to/CasioEmuMsvc.app Replace /path/to/CasioEmuMsvc.app with the actual path to your extracted app. You can type xattr -cr and drag the App into the Terminal window .
