CarPlay now works with five major chatbot apps

Anthropic's Claude iPhone app has added CarPlay support, making it the fifth major AI chatbot app available on Apple's in-car system, joining ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, and Meta AI. The update arrives ahead of Siri AI's integration with CarPlay in iOS 27, which is currently in beta. Claude for CarPlay lets users resume recent chats or start new voice conversations using Claude's voice function.
