Built an open-source MCP Conformance Scanner

A developer built the MCP Conformance Scanner, an open-source tool that helps developers validate their MCP servers before deployment. The scanner addresses common configuration and conformance issues found across MCP implementations, and is available as a live demo and on GitHub.

I built the MCP Conformance Scanner after repeatedly reviewing MCP implementations and noticing the same configuration and conformance issues across different projects. Rather than continuing to perform those checks manually, I wanted to create a tool that helps developers validate their MCP servers before deployment.

If you’re building with MCP, I’d love for you to use the scanner on one of your projects: Live Demo

Try it on your own MCP server. Report bugs or unexpected behavior.

Suggest new conformance or production-readiness checks.

Share ideas that would make it more useful in your workflow.

This project is still evolving, and real-world usage is the best way to improve it. Thanks for taking the time to give it a try.
