Bing & Copilot Experimenting With Microsoft-Decision-1

Microsoft is experimenting with its new Microsoft-Decision-1 decision-scoring model in both Bing Search and Copilot, following the model's launch last week in Microsoft Foundry and on OpenRouter. Rangan Majumder said on X, "We're experimenting with it in Copilot and it's pretty good! Very impressed with how quickly they improved it as well," while Bing team member Krishna Madhavan responded to a query about Bing's use with "we are always experimenting!" Microsoft said Microsoft-Decision-1 is designed for routing, classification, prioritization, verification, and workflow control, and delivers top performance in latency and quality on structured decision tasks to outperform both LLMs and other decision models.
