Beyond Solver Verdicts: Generative Reward Models for Autoformalization

Researchers formalized a vulnerability they call Verdict-Preserving-Unfaithfulness (VPU), in which mathematical solvers in neurosymbolic systems verify reasoning correctness but cannot detect whether a formal translation maintains strict reference-equivalence to a designated formalization.
