Behringer Kick (Be 0700-AAM)

MUSIC Tribe has published the source code for the Behringer KICK (Be 0700-AAM) drum machine on GitHub under the MusicTribeOpenSource organization, with the application, audio engine library and hardware communication protocol licensed AGPL-3.0-or-later and the Buildroot Linux image under GPL-2.0. The KICK hardware includes an AI camera for gesture control, a touchscreen, 16 RGB pads across 8 banks, a sampler with sample editing, step sequencer and looper, over 300 built-in effects, 4 assignable knobs and a jog wheel, plus MIDI in/out, USB and 4 CV/Gate jacks. MUSIC Tribe invites contributions via pull requests with no membership required and asks that security problems be reported privately through GitHub vulnerability advisories.
