The victim gave police a description of the attacker, and officers arrested Sium in the patio area of Woodlands Market, Law said.\n\nFive hours before that incident, Sium had been released from jail in a San Rafael case. On June 18, he was booked on suspicion of assault to commit rape after trespassing at a fitness studio on Grand Avenue, police said. He also was booked on a parole hold linked to a prison term for a 2023 sexual battery conviction in Marin.\n\nThe jail let him out Wednesday because the San Rafael case is still under review by the Marin County District Attorney’s Office.\n\nSium has since been charged with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor sexual battery in connection with the Tiburon incident.
