The AI-driven token launch platform now lets anyone spin up new tokens with liquidity pools denominated in tokenized stocks like AAPL and SPY

The AI-driven token creation platform introduced stock-paired tokens around July 20, giving users the ability to launch new tokens with liquidity pools quoted in Robinhood’s Stock Tokens. Think pairs like LEVE/AAPL or SPX690/SPY. It landed less than three weeks after Robinhood Chain’s public mainnet went live on July 1.
What Bankr actually built #
Bankr isn’t just letting people trade tokenized stocks. What’s different is that it’s using those tokenized stocks as the quote asset in brand-new liquidity pools for freshly minted tokens. Instead of your new token’s value being measured against a stablecoin or ETH, it’s measured against a tokenized version of Tesla, Apple, or one of over 90 equities and ETFs available as Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain.
Bankr’s own BNKR token launched with a $50K liquidity pool on the chain, serving as a proof of concept for the model.
Robinhood’s Stock Tokens are structured as ERC-20 tokenized debt securities linked to underlying US stocks and ETFs. They provide economic exposure to the price movements of those securities without conferring actual ownership or voting rights.
Robinhood Chain’s bigger play #
Robinhood Chain launched as an Ethereum-based Layer 2 solution specifically designed around tokenized real-world assets. The chain integrated Chainlink from the start for data feeds and cross-chain interoperability.
The Stock Tokens are available in over 120 countries, though notably not in the US itself. Robinhood, the company that became synonymous with democratizing stock trading for American retail investors, built a blockchain product that American retail investors can’t use.
The chain supports over 90 equities and ETFs via Stock Tokens. Adding Bankr’s token launch infrastructure on top of that creates an ecosystem where tokenized stocks aren’t just buy-and-hold instruments but active components of DeFi-style liquidity provision.
What this means for investors #
On the risk side, you’re layering speculative token launches on top of synthetic equity exposure on top of a three-week-old blockchain.
