Baidu’s Xiaodu schedules AI hardware launch for Sept. 8

Baidu's smart-device business Xiaodu will unveil new hardware at a product event on Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. Beijing time, including smart displays, Tiantian companion screens, smart speakers, and cameras featuring the upgraded Chaoneng Xiaodu AI assistant. The launch follows the introduction of Chaoneng Xiaodu last November, when Baidu announced a free upgrade for tens of millions of existing devices across its ecosystem.
