# Baidu Cloud reportedly separates its AI agent and MaaS businesses

Baidu Cloud has reportedly reorganized its platform product division, renaming it the intelligent-agent division while moving its model-as-a-service and Qianfan businesses to a separate infrastructure division. The changes reportedly took effect in August.

The company’s data platform unit was also renamed the data-intelligence division and moved under the intelligent-applications business. The restructuring separates Baidu Cloud’s model infrastructure, data services and agent products into different operating units as the company expands its enterprise AI business.
