Audi China has established an innovation technology center in Shanghai with SAIC Group. The center is designed specifically for Audi’s China-focused AUDI brand and will cover vehicle development from product definition and platform engineering to system integration.
The two companies plan to use the next-generation Advanced Digital Platform to develop four new AUDI-brand models. The center will focus on electric vehicles, connected-car technologies, AI-powered cockpits and driver-assistance systems for the Chinese market. [IT Home, in Chinese]
