The critical phrase here is ‘up to’ because the RX 9060 XT offers very good Full HD 1080p gaming at its core. It can stretch to 1440p gaming in some titles, specifically with less demanding settings. That makes this a strong lower-cost gaming GPU if you don’t want to go beyond $500.

What to consider before you buy
The natural competitor for any RX 9060 XT 16GB is the Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. The Nvidia card is more powerful, but it’s also usually priced up to $600. If that’s not viable for you, then this deal could be a sensible option. For up to 1440p gaming (with compromises), you get plenty of VRAM, the latest AMD features, and a card that can stay cool and quiet. Unless you desperately want Nvidia DLSS for upscaling or its more refined encoders, there’s value to be found right here.
