Apple is gearing up for what looks like its most ambitious software overhaul in recent memory. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has been steadily revealing details about iOS 27, which Apple plans to showcase at its Worldwide Developers Conference running June 8-12, and the centerpiece is a Siri that actually feels like it belongs in 2026.
The redesigned voice assistant will adopt a chatbot-style interface, a dark color scheme, and deeper integration with Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Siri gets a brain transplant #
The new Siri won’t just look different. It will work differently. The chatbot-like experience suggests Apple is moving toward the kind of extended, contextual conversations that users have come to expect from tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
