New wearable also aims to measure your heart rate all the time and put AI on your wrist

The new watches are focused on health and intelligence features, both of which add new ways of monitoring you more and more often.
Most of the intelligence features are based on Apple’s new idea of “Audio Intelligence”. That aims to use the microphones in the watch to monitor its owner and turn that into useful information.
A new “Live Rewind” feature will allow people to see a transcript of what someone just said, for instance. And the new “Siri Recap” tool can use the microphones to record all the time and then summarise important things people have said.
Apple stressed its privacy protections in all of those features. They must be explicitly turned on, it said, and it does not create or store any audio recordings or identify speakers in its notes.
A new heart rate monitor in both Watches also add more continuous health recording features. It means that the Watch can take heart rate readings every five seconds, for instance, 60 times more than before.
That allows all sorts of new features, including new “readiness” readings that aim to tell people how well they are recovered and how much exercise they may be ready to do.
