Apple announces first foldable iPhone at annual event

Apple CEO John Ternus announced the first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, at the company's annual event on Sept. 9, 2026, marking the biggest change to the iPhone since its 2007 debut. Apple said the iPhone Duo will sell for a base price of $1,999.
