A Pew Research Center survey of U.S. adults conducted July 6-12, 2026, finds the Republican Party's advantage on immigration narrowing, with 41% agreeing with Republicans and 36% with Democrats on immigration policy, down from a 44%-35% gap in September 2025. On economic issues, the public remains divided: 36% agree with Republicans, 37% with Democrats, and 25% with neither party. On AI policy, 51% of respondents say they agree with neither party, while 23% agree with Republicans and 22% with Democrats.
