# Anthropic launches Claude Code Artifacts, turning AI sessions into live enterprise dashboards

The new beta feature lets teams convert Claude Code outputs into interactive, shareable HTML workspaces hosted at private URLs

Anthropic just gave its enterprise customers a reason to stop building internal tools the hard way. The company’s new Claude Code Artifacts feature, now in beta for Team and Enterprise subscribers, converts AI coding sessions into live, interactive HTML pages that can be shared across an organization via private URLs.

## What Claude Code Artifacts actually does

The feature builds on Anthropic’s original Artifacts system, which first launched in June 2024. That earlier version let users generate static outputs like code snippets, documents, and simple visualizations within Claude’s interface. It went into general availability by August 2024, and by mid-2025, hundreds of millions of Artifacts had been created.

The new iteration generates live HTML pages that pull from multiple data sources and update in real time. A user can describe what they need in plain English, and Claude Code assembles it into a functioning workspace hosted at a private URL.

The feature is restricted to Anthropic’s paid tiers, specifically the Team and Enterprise subscription plans. Consumer users on the free or Pro plans won’t have access, at least not yet.

Users can plug in live code and connect multiple data sources, then surface everything on an interactive URL they can send to teammates.

## Anthropic’s enterprise play is getting serious

The feature was highlighted in Anthropic’s promotional materials around April 20-21, 2026, landing at a moment when enterprise AI spending decisions for the back half of the year are actively being made.

Hundreds of millions of Artifacts were created on the original, simpler version of the feature. If even a fraction of that usage migrates to the live, interactive format, Anthropic will have an enormous dataset of real enterprise workflows to learn from.

## Why crypto and fintech should pay attention

Anthropic didn’t mention crypto or blockchain in its announcement. The underlying technology consists of flexible HTML and JavaScript pages that can pull from multiple live data sources.

The risk, as always with beta features, is that the reality doesn’t match the pitch. Live, interactive pages that pull from multiple data sources sound great until they break, lag, or produce incorrect visualizations that someone uses to make a trading decision. Enterprise customers will need to treat these outputs as tools, not oracles.
