In a separate transaction, Broadcom agreed to backstop payments on the largest portions of a roughly $36 billion debt package arranged to purchase Google-designed chips for Anthropic. [6] No comparable guarantee has been disclosed for Volta.\n\nAnthropic can finance a large expansion: the company raised $65 billion in May at a $965 billion post-money valuation and said the proceeds would help expand compute.
