# Anthropic adopts Google’s SynthID-Text watermarking for all Claude models

Starting August 2, 2026, every new Claude model ships with a hidden statistical fingerprint baked into its outputs. ## How invisible ink works in 2026

## The regulatory domino effect

Anthropic isn’t acting in isolation.
