Ant International, Visa and Mastercard develop Know-Your-Agent framework for AI payments

Ant International, Visa and Mastercard have begun developing a Know-Your-Agent (KYA) interoperability framework for AI-driven payments, working through Singapore's BuildFin.ai platform convened by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The framework is designed to help card networks, digital wallets, agent platforms and online marketplaces identify and onboard trusted AI agents across payment ecosystems while preserving each network's existing verification and risk-control processes. The three companies said the framework will focus on operator traceability, shared certification requirements and continuous transaction monitoring.
