The funding will advance the coalition's work on shared standards, infrastructure, and meta-evaluation research for AI evaluation, including projects like Eval Cards and the Shared Task on Evaluating GenAI Evaluations. Announcing Our New EvalEval Grant Support The EvalEval Coalition is excited to announce recent grant support from funders whose contributions advance our work building shared standards, infrastructure, and meta-evaluation research for the AI evaluation field. Founders Pledge Global Catastrophic Risks Fund has awarded the coalition funding to support development of Eval Cards. We are grateful to Sammy Martin and the Founders Pledge GCR team for their support of this work. The Survival and Flourishing Fund SFF has also awarded the coalition support for our ongoing infrastructure and research work, and we are grateful to SFF for backing shared, open evaluation resources for the field. Additionally, the Weizenbaum Project “Evaluating GenAI Evaluations,” funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space BMFTR and the State of Berlin, supports our Shared Task on Evaluating GenAI Evaluations, and we are grateful for this support of the coalition’s meta-evaluation research. These contributions directly enable the coalition’s ongoing work on Every Eval Ever, Eval Cards, the Shared Task, and our collaborations with stakeholders including CAISI, UK AISI, and others working to bring greater coherence to AI evaluation.
