For engineering teams provisioning macOS development machines or CI runners, this provides a programmatic way to reclaim disk space and eliminate background AI processes, though it will break any workflows dependent on native system-level LLM integrations.\n\nRemoveMacAI allows for the deletion of 12GB of on-disk Apple Intelligence foundation models and the blocking of their redownload.
