An AI that talks like a friend, jumps in, interrupts and keeps the convo going

A new experimental app called Deep Talk Buddy, built by developer echohive42 and distributed via Patreon, lets users converse with an AI that can interrupt and interject mid-sentence to keep a lively back-and-forth going. The app, which requires Node.js 22+, a signed-in Codex, a microphone, and internet access, processes audio and text through OpenAI and is not an official OpenAI product.
