Scite launched an AI Reads tool that lets researchers see which AI assistants are reading their papers, tracking 19.4 million AI reads across 8.6 million papers from 22,000 publishers. The data covers reads by the Scite Assistant and Scite MCP, updated daily, and Scite MCP is offered to bring scientific sources into ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools. Users can enter their name, a DOI, or a Scite author link to see which AI tools read their work and which papers they reach for most.
