Am I being silly adding MCP to my contracting site? Santurce Software has added a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint at https://santurcesoftware.com/mcp, letting AI agents discover the contracting firm's services and submit project inquiries without an API key. The server exposes two tools, get_company_profile and submit_project_inquiry, the latter writing an authorized introduction to the firm's Mailchimp audience with summaries capped at 255 UTF-8 bytes and oversize submissions rejected rather than shortened. The site keeps no local inquiry files, inbox, queue or submission history, so failed deliveries must be retried by the agent or sent by direct email. For agents Connect your agent. Discover our services and send a project introduction with your permission. MCP connection Use Streamable HTTP at https://santurcesoftware.com/mcp . Discovery is public and requires no API key. Tools - get company profile : company, services and engagement details. - submit project inquiry : send an authorised project introduction directly to our Mailchimp audience. Your permission Your agent must ask permission to share your name, email, company and project summary with Santurce Software via Mailchimp for project follow-up. Do not include credentials, confidential files or sensitive personal information. A brief introduction Keep your summary within 255 UTF-8 bytes. Optional timing must fit within that same limit. For a longer introduction, email us directly. Oversize submissions are rejected, not shortened. Submission result Success means Mailchimp acknowledged the contact update. Your latest introduction updates the fields for your email address. New contacts are not subscribed to marketing, and existing subscription preferences are preserved. A project request is not a quote, booking or contract. This site keeps no local inquiry files, inbox, queue or submission history. If delivery fails or cannot be confirmed, your agent must retry later or use direct email. There is no background retry or receipt-status lookup.
