Alibaba launches next-gen Qwen3.8 with 2.4 trillion parameters

Alibaba launched its next-generation foundation model Qwen3.8 on Monday, featuring 2.4 trillion parameters and improvements in coding and professional workplace tasks. The Qwen3.8 API is now available on the Qwen AI platform and integrated into Alibaba's new AI agent product Qwen Office. Alibaba plans to open-source Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-27B next week.
