Butterlamp Audio has introduced a new wavetable synthesizer built for classic, knob-by-knob sound design with depth on every layer.
Tilichu features two morphing wavetable oscillators, granular and spectral sample engines, a 32-slot modulation matrix, and twelve effects — plus an AI generator that turns a plain-language description into a full starting patch.
Every stage is built for modulation and made to be played. Start from a wavetable, reshape it spectrally, scatter it into grains — then route anything to anything.
Available in VST3 and AU plugin formats and as standalone software for macOS (Windows support is coming), Tilichu ships with 400+ factory presets, imports Serum 2 and Vital patches, and activates offline on up to three machines with no iLok and no phone-home.
The synth is priced $99 USD, and a free 14-day trial version is available to try the plugin.
