AI outage: Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok are currently down for many users

Claude, ChatGPT/Codex, and Grok experienced a widespread outage affecting web, mobile, and desktop users, with service beginning to restore after about half an hour. The downtime coincides with OpenAI's rumored launch of its next model, Astra, which may upgrade from GPT-5.6 to GPT-6.

SpaceXAI has also confirmed that Grok is having a service issue. The downtime comes as OpenAI is rumored to share news around the launch of its next big model, called Astra, as soon as today.
