AI minister role boosted but tech department axed in Burnham shake-up

UK Technology Secretary Peter Kyle has been removed from his role and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has been abolished in a cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, while Kanishka Narayan has been appointed as the new AI minister with a cabinet-level position but without a dedicated department.
