I’ve been able to ship more quality software than ever before. It allowed me to find & fix an obscure bug in [laravel/framework and have it merged for the next release](https://github.com/laravel/framework/pull/60369)\n. I’m restarting side-projects, picked up blogging after a hiatus & [genuinly fell in love with programming](/web-development-is-fun-again/)\nagain.\n\nOpus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 together work as skill-amplifiers. Are you decent at coding? Now you can be *really good*. Are you a good product developer? Now you have *superpowers*. If you’re not shipping more and better software than you were a year ago, I don’t know what to say.\n\nConfidence is something you earn based on what you’ve done *in the past*.
