AI fakes a growing problem on Apple Books, some ‘written’ in a few hours

Apple Books is facing a growing problem with AI-generated fake books, some written in just a few hours, as tech writer Joanna Stern discovered 10 fake versions of her book *I Am Not a Robot* on the platform within days of its publication. New York Times journalist Kashmir Hill also found a fake AI-written biography of herself on Amazon, part of thousands of similar listings.
