I am not so dumb that I don’t know the value and potential of Artificial Intelligence.
BUT: I also know the value of the real deal . . . human thinking, creativity and ingenuity . . . American “Know-How.”
The genius of Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs. The boldness of the Wright Brothers. (Kindly notice the oversight. I did *not *include myself.) Martin Luther King Jr., Ford, Singer, Whitney, Morse, Colt, Eastman, Goodyear.
How about the talent, smarts, ability, know-how of our US astronauts . . . up to the moon without a loo.
The inspiration and strategic genius of Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, George Washington. Forget de Blasio. OK, so even if we overlook Joe and Jill chugging up Biden hill — we’re *not! *talking battery-operated types. Also note not even that oy! — Charlie McCarthy of Washington — Adam BullSchiff.
These weren’t computer generated. Our nation’s character, love of freedom and values we cherish (put aside the price of milk and rent increases) are built on the foundation of our Constitution, the challenges we overcame, the victories we have achieved. That isn’t artificial — that’s the real American genius.
Meanwhile, those Hamptons are up to their batteries in itchy future wannabes. So many you don’t know exactly where to plug them in. Traffic out East, particularly crappy this season, is an invasion of Dem presidential wannabes clogging the sewers.
Try Illinois Gov. Pritzker, Kentucky Gov. Beshear, Pennsylvania Gov. Shapiro, New Jersey’s Sen. Booker, a half-inch of Georgia’s Sen. Ossoff, former Ambassador Emanuel, the three initialled former bartender whose international know-how extends to gin fizz. All burble about affordability while BSing in waterfront mansions and noshing free stale bagels. Maybe they could start by shrinking the price of sweatshirts at $140 apiece. How to make them cheaper is if those dudes were inside them.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt’s career — maybe gone to the dogs, co-starring in “Heart of the Beast,” he’s teamed with a four-legged star. His plane crashes in Alaska’s wilderness. Special Forces officer Brad is pitted against the wilderness. With him is his combat dog, Odin. Angelina Jolie mightn’t watch it but it barks into theaters Sept. 25. Fetch a ticket. And when you get to your seat: Sit.
Papa preaches
Here’s another. Father and son therapists confront everything. Simple communication through correspondence evolves into heavy-duty drama into profound emotion. It’s to be a play. Two-act adaptation of Donald Cohen’s book with his dad Max, “The Inside Ride.” We’re talking struggles, disagreements love, family, etc. Title: “Dear Dad.” Forget taking the dog to this one.
