AI and it's capabilites

A user on Privacy Guides forum reported that ChatGPT, an AI language model by OpenAI, failed to make legal moves in a chess game against Stockfish, a chess engine, leading the user to end the experiment. The user questioned why the model could not handle the task.

ALO https://discuss.privacyguides.net/u/ALO 1 So a few days ago I was running a little experiment out of my own curiosity, I was putting ChatGPT up against Stockfish to see how language models like ChatGPT handle that kind of stuff. In the end I had to end the experiment because ChatGPT refused to make any legal moves and I just have one question, why?
