Agents identified. Value unlocked.\nOne principle behind Wayleave is that this isn't about making the internet hostile to AI.\nI believe AI agents are going to become an important part of how software and the web work.\nThe question is how businesses participate sustainably.\nIf an autonomous system is repeatedly consuming expensive compute, proprietary information, API calls, tools, or other valuable resources, the business providing those resources should have visibility and control over that relationship.\nSometimes the right policy will be free.\nSometimes it will be limited.\nSometimes blocked.\nAnd sometimes paid.\nThe infrastructure should make that decision possible.\nI'm building this in public\nWayleave is early.\nI'm a solo founder, and I'm deliberately not pretending every problem around agent identity and machine commerce has already been solved.\nWhat I can do is build, test, publish, learn, and improve quickly.\nI'd particularly like feedback from developers building:\n- APIs consumed by agents\n- MCP servers and tools\n- AI applications\n- proprietary data services\n- developer platforms\n- usage-based products\n- agent infrastructure\nIf you're already seeing meaningful agent traffic, I'm especially interested in hearing what problems it's creating for your infrastructure.\nThe agentic web is arriving.\nI think it needs a control layer.\nThat's what I'm building with Wayleave.\nWayleave.dev", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used", "canonical_source": "https://dev.to/gibrancorbin11hub/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used-4dna", "published_at": "2026-10-05 01:00:40+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-10-05 01:12:05.221399+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["ai-agents", "ai-infrastructure", "agent-protocols", "developer-tools"], "entities": ["Wayleave", "Wayleave Build", "Cloudflare", "AWS", "Vercel", "Stripe", "MCP", "x402"], "also_reported_by": [], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/ai-agents-are-changing-the-way-the-web-is-used.jsonld"}}
