AI agent observability is struggling to keep up with hallucinations

Splunk surveyed 2,050 IT and engineering professionals across ten countries and found that 62% now rely on AI agents frequently to diagnose why their systems broke, while more than half have no way to measure whether those agents get it right. Teams have confined agents to root-cause finding, alert tuning and drafting runbooks, but observability is struggling to keep pace with hallucinations.
